Still have questions?

How do you monitor my website and keep costs low?

I use a third-party tool to do most of the monitoring tasks to keep costs low.
The majority of my monthly rate is simply passing those costs on to you.

Can I use my own tool to monitor my website and opt-out of your maintenance plan?

Yes! And that’s fine! As long as you are monitoring your website somehow, I’m happy and still always here for help! Read more about caring for your own website here.

You didn’t build my website, but can you maintain it for me?

Sure! I’d love to help you! There may be an upfront fee of $350 (maximum) depending on the size and complexity of your website after I determine how much clean up is require to get it in top shape and ready for regular maintenance.

Often times the cost is $0, so contact us so I can check out your specific site first.

Do you support websites other than WordPress sites?

I can provide some of our services to non-WordPress clients, but not all. To learn more about how I can help you specifically, contact me.

Can I get set up with a monthly retainer of hours to use?

No, everything I do is a flat rate. Sometimes things take longer than expected, and sometimes a bit faster, so it’s most beneficial to both parties this way.

Can my whole team send you requests for help when on a care plan?

At minimum, a single person must be named as the point of contact for all care plans.
I do include up to two contacts as a part of the monthly fee.

If you require more than two points of contact, a management fee of 50% of the total monthly fee will be charged for each additional point person that you need.

Why do I need to maintain my WordPress website?

Maintaining your WordPress website is essential for ensuring its security, performance, and compatibility.

  • Security: WordPress is one of the most popular Content Management Systems (CMS) in the world, and it is often targeted by hackers and malicious actors. By regularly updating your WordPress core, themes, and plugins, you can ensure that any known security vulnerabilities are patched, and your website is less likely to be compromised.
  • Performance: Over time, your website’s performance may degrade due to a variety of factors, including outdated software, large media files, or other technical issues. By regularly maintaining your website, you can identify and resolve these issues, improving your site’s speed and user experience.
  • Compatibility: As technology evolves, it’s essential to ensure that your website remains compatible with the latest browsers and devices. By updating your WordPress installation and plugins, you can ensure that your website functions correctly across a range of devices and platforms.

Notes & Terms

Does not include any custom work, design, or page updates

If you need more than what is offered in the standard plan outlined above, contact us and tell us what you need and I’ll get you a quote right away.

Once you sign up, your price is guaranteed to not change for a minimum of one (1) year. Price is subject to change at any time after your first year with at least 4 months prior notice.

Price is based on the customer paying with a credit card set up for recurring automatic payment. If you need manual invoices to be sent each month, there is an extra $10 fee per month. Monthly maintenance plans are not eligible for any discounts.

¹ Malware removal is included up to once (1x) per month with the Premium and Ultimate plans. If additional malware is found more than once (1x) per month, an extra fee may be charged of $100 – I would notify you of this charge to get your approval before making any fixes. For the Standard plan, malware removal is charged at $250 per instance.

² Single, page edits do not rollover month to month if they aren’t used – these are included as a courtesy for Premium and Ultimate plans. If additional edits are needed, they are charged at a rate of $25 per page for clients subscribed to any maintenance/care plan. Page edits are charged at a rate of $75 per page for clients that are not subscribed to a maintenance/care plan.

³ Monthly 1-hour touch-base calls do not rollover month to month if they are not used – these are included as a courtesy for businesses on the Ultimate plan. These calls are scheduled by the client each month if needed via a digital calendar.
